   CUCMBER GEL  1)      To take care of the skin:- this gel is applied to face,neck, kept for 10-15 minutes and then wahed with cold water, It providees skin with a good tonic and also maintaing health. It protects the skin from black heads, pimples and wrinkles. It also moisturizes excessive dey skin. In situation of redness or allergy of the skin, the gel gives permanent relief.2)      Sun burn : Sometimes on walking in the sun or with excessive summer heat, the skin becomes dry. Sufficient amount of cucumber gel is applied on the skin. The moisture from cucumbergel gives cooling effect to innermost layer of the skin. Rather, before going in the sun, the later.  The hair get harmed due to some external factors – May it be perming, bleaching, infection, swimming, use wrong shampoos, excessive use of soaps or improper washing of hair. If treatment is not done properly, it can destroy protective acid mantle of the scalp resulting in problems of hair fall. Many times, the perspiration collected and dried on scalp due to over exercise or even  tendency of excessive sweating, leads to accumulation of salts. These layers of salt weaken the hair. Sometimes the causative factor for hairfall is use of hard water or polluted water. Some people have the habit of scratching on the scalp unnecessarily. Some times the hair is injured with tight and stretched hair style, or by the over use of hair pins and hirbands. Along with these local causes, some biological factors also play their part. As in Vidula’s case sudden refuction in weight lead to the reduction in blood supply to the body. Now there is an emergency in the bordy. Vital organs like brain, heart, liver and kidney have to be supploied with adequate amount of blood on a priotity basis under any circumstances. So this emergevation of  causes starvation of secondary organs cumstances. So this emergency causes starvation secondary organs like skin, muscles, intestines etc. They get less supply. If the whole body is supplied with adequate blood, then only the hair too would get good nrtrion. Otherwise the hair-problems will arise. This hair fall is due to poor blood supply. Now because of this problem (hair fall) the h1air are then handled delicately so as to reduce hair- loss.

We have so   many, simple, safe, and economical herbal medicines available to us. By using them judiciously we can prevent illnesses. Take the case of drinking of water! Drinking 6-10 glasses of water in a day, does not cost much! cold and aerated water does more harm than benefits. For doing  without any drugs. ‘Jalaneti’, after waking up in the morning, takes only one minute and few paise for salt. Pranaysm  is free of cost. It takes only 5 minutes, same way, biting and chewing food properly, implanting artificial tooth after tooth extraction, not biting the nails, washings hands before meals, and most important is, eating some made, fresh, satvik food can help keep a good health without any drugs. Pollution is here to stay: keeping this in mind, we should concentrate more on how to make ourselves constitutionally ‘strong’. Same can be said about our diet. Let 2 inches long tongue not rule over a 5 feet body. As per nutrition needs, everyone only knows how to find out, calories of the different food articles, how to  find out, calories of the different food articles, however one important thing is neglected, and that is the basic properties of these substances.  E.g. the non-veg. food and eggs are used in excess for supply of proteins ! And that increases “Tamasik” property of the body which in turn leads to various disease. Almost 80% of patients who complained about hair and skin problems were found to have these as causative factors. In cases of arthritis, diseases of abdomen, inflammation of liver, headache etc. improper food habits found to be the prime causative factors. Especially, bronchial asthma in children was found to be related with diseases? World Organization of Nutritional Sciences have clearly mention that proteins obtained from germination cereals are found to be most compatible. Some  other things are also to be noted here i. e. persons with Vata prakriti may suffer by eating germinated cereals. Chana, udad, green peas, etc. nutritionists advise eating of raw green vegetables for vegetables for  weight. But due to this some may get vata disorders , resulting in an arthritic pain, spondylitis, migraines, etc. Instead of only knowing which food is good, one should find  out whether it is suitable to one’s constitution. A lengthy list can be given in this regard                                                      ; e.g. excess of 1) lemon in morning affects tooth enamel, increased acidity,2) groundnuts and peanuts can cause vata disorders, 3) excess cashewnuts causing burning in urination and joint pain. 4) almonds cause heat excessive bleeding : leading to fissure, piles. 5) methi seeds can cause mouth ulcers and vaginal burning.  Thus for maintaining good health, the restrictive diet should be considered well and mistakes must be corrected.

The oils used in Aromatherapy should be pure natural aromatic oils (essential oils) and not Synthetic perfumes or substances, then and only then they are effective. Aromatherapy oils are prepared by special methods, different from methods used in extracting usual natural aromatic oils. The properties of the tree or plant are said to be present in this oil. The vital energy of the tree is present in oil; so they are believed to be the heart of the plants. They are found in very small amount (as low as 0.01%). They are found in very small amounts in the tree. This vital energy is used in the Aromatherapy : so it is different from any other massage. This treatment acts on body and mind both. Easing tension of body and mind is a prime benefit. (Many illnesses occur due to this tension). It improves and accelerates the blood and Lymph circulation and removes toxins from the body. Human body is said to have a magnetic power and it’s balance is to be kept for maintaining a good health. Each part of the body has positive and negative charges. These massages are based on this knowledge. Aromatherapy oils (in fact  oil is a wrong word, the word (essence seems to be more appropriate) are used in different ways. They are as follows : 1)      AIR FRESHNER: Take hot water in small bowl, add a few drops of oil in it and keep it open. Put some drops of oil on cushions or on carpets in the room.2)      AS A COMPRESS : Add few drops of oil to a hot or cold water, dip cloth or a handkerchief in it, squeeze little and use as compress.3)      SITZE  BATH : Take hot water in a suitable tub, add few drops of required oil to it, stir well and sit in that water.4)      INHALATION : Take hot water in a vessel, add 10drops of oil to it and inhale.5)      OIL MASSAGE : Oil with mild fragrance may be used directly. The  irritant oils should be avoided. This oil is massaged all over body after bath.6)      MASSAGE : Aromatherapy oil and plain oil are blended in 2 : 100 proportion and then used for massage.

As soon as winter sets in, many problems concerning beauty protection crop up. The skin starts racking and gets dried up in this weather. If attention is for the skin getting dried up is that the oil glands and blood circulation becomes dull within the ski nIn your daily routine observe the following to save yourself of these difficulties.
  1. In winters rub the dry skin, then massage with oil and then for 15-20 minutes remain in the sun.
  2. Do not use soap instead use besan or multani mud for bathing and use luke warm water for bathing and in the end wipe the body with cold wet towel and dry the skin with palms. .
  3. Wet your feet in warm water for 10 minutes and then massage with oil.
  4. Mix lemon juice in glycerine and apply on your hands.
  5. Befor sleeping at night apply milk cream on the face.

Right from the olden days sages have suggested to eat only as much as to satisfy half of the appetite, food should fill half of the appetite. Food should se food products fill half the stomach, one fourth for air. But very few people adhere to it.

 

Most of the people hold that less food will provide less nourishment and consequently  the body will become weak. Actually this contention is wrong. Only those food products ane good for the body which are easily digestible.

 

Remember the more you eat, the more you become emenable to diseases. Do and experiment on yourself for two weeks. For three four days you will experience hunger on account of eating less, but within a week the stomach will get accustomed to it. Then observer our body. Then you will definitely realize the importance of eating less and adopt it for the rest of your life. Long lived people are found to eating less.

 

It is not wise to feet without requirement in being host or out of affection.

 

If  the people realize the mystery of eating less then the problem of health as well as food problem of this world will be solved.

                                 WAYS OF EATING LESS 
  1. Use your self control to decide your dies His Prasad. Prasad is not taken again.  Thus the qu ntity of food will get fixed.
  2. Chew your food completely, chewing well gives satisfaction promptly. One person was fond of eating too much. When suggested that each morsel be chewed 32 times, he got satisfied on consumption of two chapatis only.
  3. Talking or entertaining mental tension while eating is always harmful. Unknowingly you tend to eat more.
  4. You should eat only juicy, pure, and food stuff which provides stability, strengthen the brain and heart and is easily digestible. Therefore as far as possible eat only satvik food.
  5. Develop a habit of eating only twice a day.

Laughing and smiling overcomes anger.

 

A person who remains happy ever, is dear to every one.

 

If you want to be healthy laugh loudly. Everyday for five minutes practice laughter in different poses before the mirror.  

 

Laughing removes tension, gives peace to the mind, save from heart problems makes the face beautiful. Laughing loudly cures many ailments of the stomach, that is why it is necessary to laugh loudly at least thrice or four times a day.

 

Make an effort to be smiling naturally while talking, walking, sitting, standing and all the time. This will keep you always in a positive frame of mind. Because when smiling such changes take in the chemical formation of our body that prohibit tension.

Human beings become as they think. Thoughts have a close impact on health. Those who are too indulgent, lustful, vulgar, in their thoughts and talk and entertain themselves this way can never possess good health. Worries, anger fear dissatisfaction, envy, ill feeling, greed, arrogance, etc. ill thoughts are chief causes of diseases.

 

For instance wrong thoughts cause the following diseases.

Worries-cause high blood pressure, heart ailment, diabetes, insomnia etc.

 

Anger-Causes ulcers in stomach and intestines.

 

Disappointment-causes indigestion and paralysis etc.  

 

Some people suffer from diseases only because of wrong way of thinking. Such patients may be given treatment but they will not improve unless their way of thinking and thoughts improve.
